Description
Berryfields Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, featuring a cross-wing with a main range that was cased and rebuilt in the early 19th century. The structure is timber-framed and rendered, with red brick used in the 19th-century parts. It has a plain-tiled roof with a ridge stack of red brick located at the junction of the two ranges, and an end stack on the cross-wing. The farmhouse has a hall and cross-wing plan, with the main range consisting of one storey and an attic. There is one 19th-century gable dormer that has a small pane wood casement. The ground floor features segmental arches above two wood casements and two doorways, one leading to a lobby-entry. The cross-wing is two storeys high and includes one 20th-century three-light casement, along with a segmental arch above a ground floor wood casement.
