Description
The Manor Public House is a public house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain-tiled roof that is hipped at the angle. The building has a wooden eaves cornice and includes end and ridge stacks. It is designed in an L-shape, with its front facing the road, consisting of five bays that contain cross frame casements with leaded lights. The central doorway features a possibly later engaged Roman Doric doorcase with an entablature. The entrance has double doors set in a round-headed arch, complete with a fanlight that has radial glazing bars, and the doors are flush panelled. The building is included in the listing for its group value.
