Description

The Butchers Public House is a public house located on Coventry Road in Fillongley. It dates from the late 16th century and late 18th century. The building features a timber-frame structure with brick infill, and a brick front was added in the late 18th century. It has a plain-tiled roof with end and internal stacks and stands two storeys high. The first floor has two 20th-century wood casement windows. On either side of the doorway, there are two canted bays, also from the 20th century, which are covered by a lean-to roof. Inside, some substantial timber-framing is exposed in the front and rear walls.
