Description
Grange Cottage is a house located in Wood End, dating from the early 17th century and early 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with colourwashed brick infill and red brick that is also colourwashed on the main range. The building has plain-tiled gable roofs and a side brick stack on the north side wall of the cross-wing. The main range consists of one storey and an attic, with segmental arches over one 20th-century casement window on the front and a similar arch over the doorway in the south gable. The cross-wing is two storeys high, with one 20th-century casement window in the gable end at both the first and ground storeys. The north side wall has exposed framing, with small framing that is two panels high on each wall.
