Description
Frog Pond Cottage is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill and has been colourwashed. The roof is plain-tiled and features a ridge stack made of red brick, along with an end stack. The building is designed in a T-plan, with a wing that projects from the centre bay at the front. It has two storeys and three late 20th-century leaded light casements. On the ground floor, there are two late 20th-century bow windows on either side of a late 20th-century gabled porch. The gabled centre bay includes raking struts that connect the tie beam to the collar. The side walls of the house display large framing that is the height of two panels on each wall, along with curved upward bracing.
