Description

Cut Tree Cottage is a cottage with origins in the 17th century, with later developments from the 18th century. The building has a timber-frame structure that has mainly been replaced by red brick. It features a plain-tile roof with red brick end stacks and is one storey high with an attic. On the front, there are two gable eaves dormers from the 19th century. The cottage has segmental arches above two wood casements, also from the 19th century. At the east end of the first wall, there is a doorway with a boarded door set in a similar arch. Attached to the east end is a single-storey outbuilding from the 19th century, constructed of red brick and topped with a plain-tiled roof.
