Description

No. 74 Long Street is a shop that forms part of a row, dating from the late 18th century. The building is rendered and features an old plain-tile roof, which is concealed behind a stone-coped parapet with concave-curved ends. It has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The shop front, which dates from the 19th or 20th century, includes a bay window, a half-glazed door with an overlight, and a moulded cornice. To the right, there is a round arch leading to a passage. On the first floor, the windows are sash style, with rusticated rendered flat arches and moulded keyblocks set within blank arches that have continuous imposts. The gable features a blank arch with a Diocletian window. The interior has not been inspected.
