Description
No. 3 and No. 5 Victoria Road are two houses that have been converted into offices. They were built in the early 19th century and feature a stucco exterior with a slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The buildings have a double-depth plan and rise three stories high, presenting a six-window range. The boxed eaves add to the architectural detail.
On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century shop fronts; the one at No. 3 is designed in a traditional style, while No. 5 has a brick front with a modern fascia. The upper floor windows are adorned with sills and plaster surrounds. The first-floor windows feature cornices above 12-pane horned sashes, and the second-floor windows have 9-pane horned sashes. There are two cross-axial stacks and an end stack. At the rear, the building has two gabled wings. The interior has not been inspected.
