Description
This barn, located approximately 20 meters north of Booth's Farmhouse, dates back to 1687 and features late 19th-century alterations. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone with large quoins and has a tiled roof with verge parapets. The barn has a two-level plan, with a hay loft situated above cattle sheds. It includes a series of grouped vents in a 1:3:3:1 arrangement in the attic, along with two doors that have heavy lintels, one of which is dated on an inset plaque. There is also a window at the right end, which was formerly a doorway. The barn is part of an unusually arranged yard that includes the farmhouse to the south.
