Description
School Cottages are a pair of cottages dated 1750, located in Bradnop. They are constructed from coursed gritstone blocks with block dressings and feature a blue machine tile roof. The cottages have single cell plans and are two stories high with a one-bay front. There are two entrances, although one is now blocked, situated between widely spaced, paired casement windows. The windows on the left are enlarged and small-paned, with painted heads and cills, while the right side has smaller windows. A shouldered, chamfered datestone is located between and above the entrances, inscribed with "T S 1750." The left bay has an additional entrance, and there is a lean-to on the right.
