Description

Shepherds Cross is a cross located approximately 150 meters south of the junction with Biddulph Park Road in Biddulph. It is believed to date from the 14th century and is made of rough-hewn stone. The cross stands about 1.2 meters high and has a square base, featuring a cruciform shape with several deep-cut incisions on its front face, the purpose of which is unknown.
