Description

The churchyard cross, located about 10 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Peter in Treborough Village, dates from the late 13th century and was restored in the late 19th century. It is made of local stone and Ham stone. The cross features a three-stage calvary with a nosing on the second stage. The square socket is broached to form an octagon, and it has a 19th-century octagonal shaft topped with a gabled niche. Inside the niche is a trefoil-headed opening that contains a figure of St Peter.
