Description

The stone cross located in the center of the road at the junction with Church Road in Leyland is a notable structure, possibly dating back to the medieval period, with restoration carried out in 1887. It features a base made up of two square steps and a tall tapered shaft that includes part of the original octagonal shaft. At the top, it is surmounted by a cross.
