Description

This ornamental bridge, built in the mid-19th century, was constructed by the Bateman family of Biddulph Grange as part of an extended walking route through the estate, contributing to the designed landscape. The bridge is made of ashlar and features a stilted segmental arch. Its parapet walls have carved ends, rounded piers, and plain coping.
