Description

This outbuilding, located 20 meters north of Rudyard Hall, dates from the mid-17th century and was used as a stable, although it may not have originally been built for that purpose. It is constructed from coursed and dressed stone and features a tiled roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has a symmetrical front with two windows. On either side, there are two cavetto labelled 4-light chamfer mullion windows, and in the center, there is a gabled dormer with a cavetto labelled 3-light chamfer mullion window above a corniced central door.
