Description
Cliffe Park Lodge and its flanking walls were built in the early 19th century. The lodge is constructed from coursed stone and features a flat roof that is hidden behind a crenellated parapet, with side stacks. It is two stories tall and has a three-bay front that is divided by large piers, which are designed as turrets with crenellations. The central bay has raised crenellations. The lodge has two ranges of labelled casements, with the first floor windows being shorter. Above the string course, there is a quatrefoil surround to an upturned shield-shaped central light, which is set over a string and corbelled hood leading to a 20th-century door. The flanking walls on both sides are approximately 3.5 meters high and 7 meters long, also featuring crenellations like the lodge.
