Description

The railings located approximately 5 metres south of the Post Office are 18th century, with possible later alterations and an early 20th century gate. They feature an ashlar plinth and wrought-iron railings adorned with decorative finials and scrolled panels. The brick gate piers have ashlar caps and there are paired gates. The design details are similar to those of the Post Office, to which these railings were originally attached. They are included for their group value.
