Description

The railings and gate to Vine House date from the late 18th century and are made of wrought iron. They are associated with Vine House, which is a two-storey brown brick building featuring three double-hung sash windows with rubbed red brick flat arches and an arched doorway with a fanlight. The building has a parapet and a machine-tiled roof. The railings and gate contribute to the group value of the surrounding structures, which include the Post Office, No 7, Wistaria, the garden wall to Wistaria, Ferry House, Brampton House, Burlington Corner, and Nos 1 and 2 (Old Burlington).
