Description
Burlington Corner is an 18th-century building located on Church Street in W4. It features a combination of stucco and weatherboard and is two storeys high with three windows in surrounds. The ground floor includes a 19th-century painted brick south addition that has a dentil cornice. There is also a two-storey, one-window 18th-century brown brick north extension that faces the yard of the Standard Yeast Company and matches the south extension of their office. The building has a cornice and an old red tile hipped roof. Burlington Corner is part of a group that includes the Post Office, No 7, Wistaria, the garden wall to Wistaria, Ferry House, Brampton House, Nos 1 and 2 (Old Burlington), Vine House, and the railings and gate to Vine House.
