Description
The George and Devonshire Arms Public House is an 18th-century building located on Burlington Lane. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings and stands three stories tall. The façade features five double-hung sash windows with cills and flat arches. The entrance door is topped with a cornice hood supported by consoles. On the left side of the ground floor, there is an early 19th-century bowed shop window with an entablature that includes a "gothic" arched frieze. The building has wide eaves and is topped with a Welsh slate roof. There is a modern two-story west wing attached to the structure.
