Description

7 and 8 Chiswick Square, including the railings to number 8, are a pair of houses dating from around 1680. They are constructed of brown brick with red dressings and stand two storeys high. Each house features five double-hung sash windows set within surrounds. The ground floor windows have cambered relieving arches and flush frames. Notable features include well-crafted bracketed door hoods, a brick band between the storeys, and a stone-capped parapet. The roof is an old tile mansard. There are iron railings at number 8. All the listed buildings in Chiswick Square form a group.
