Description

The building is a former coach house and stables, along with a mounting block and horse trough, located approximately 20 yards north of Brindley Hall. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone early 20th-century alterations. The structure is made of red brick and features a hipped plain tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan, with the south range aligned east-west and the east range aligned north-south.

The south front of the building has two storeys and a loft, with a plinth and a dentilled eaves band. It consists of three bays, with a central pedimented bay that includes a semi-circular carriage arch supported by impost bands and flanked by pilaster buttresses. There are ground floor recesses on either side, each containing a lunette with radiating glazing bars. The first floor has two casement windows and a circular oculus with radiating glazing bars within the pediment.

To the right of the carriage arch is a stepped stone mounting block, and to the left is a stone horse trough.

The east front also has two storeys and three bays. It features garage doors inserted to the left, along with an early 20th-century porte-cochere supported by cast iron columns and topped with a glazed roof. The central carriage arch is blocked in the upper part, and above it is a pediment that contains a clock.
