Description

The Summerhouse, located in Enville Park, is a late 18th-century garden structure. It is built of red brick with ashlar dressings and is aligned in a north-west/south-east direction, facing north-east. The building is a single storey and features a Doric entablature, which was formerly topped with a pediment. It has three open bays supported by four alternately blocked square columns, with semi-circular arched openings at each end. At the time of the resurvey in April 1986, the Summerhouse was in a derelict and dangerous condition and stands at the edge of a wood.
