House now shop. Late C18 with later alterations and additions. Painted brick; plain tile roof; brick integral end stacks. 3 storeys with first floor band and dripstone band to the first-floor windows, upper storeys added in late C19; 3 windows; plate glass sashes with segmental heads, second-floor windows have straight heads; central glazed door flanked by recessed bow windows. Whitehouse Pharmacy originally formed a single architectural composition with the premises of Ashe and Nephew (q.v.) which adjoin to the right. Included for group value.
