Description

Millets is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the late 18th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of red brick, with the front painted and partially rendered, and features a plain tile roof. It stands three storeys tall, topped with a parapet band leading to a plain coped parapet, and has reduced proportions on the second floor. The front has a regular arrangement of four windows, which are sashes with rusticated lintels and raised key blocks. The shop front, added in the late 20th century, includes a wide fascia and an inset glazed door located to the right of centre. This building is included for its group value.
