Description

Corner House is a building that has been converted into shops. It dates back to 1673 and has undergone some later alterations. The exterior features roughcast walls and a plain tile roof, with a central brick chimney stack. The house has a lobby-entry plan and consists of two storeys plus a gable-lit attic. There are two windows with casement frames, and a band runs along the first floor. The central entrance has a six-panelled door topped by a bracketed hood. On the left gable, there is a datestone inscribed with "OMO / A.H. / I. BO / CO / 1673."
