Description
Tailbridge, Stourton Lock no 2 is an early 19th century small footbridge located over the bottom of the lock. It features cast iron cantilevered arched panels with a central gap, supported by brick footings. The deck has been resurfaced. This bridge is known as a split bridge, which allowed the tow rope to remain attached to the boat.
