Description
Canal House is a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of painted brick and feature both plain tile and interlocking tile roofs, with a central brick stack. The buildings are aligned north-south and face west.
The principal house on the left is two stories tall and has three bays. It features casement windows with stepped lintels that are grooved to resemble voussoirs. There is a central glazed door framed by a wooden architrave and topped with a cornice hood.
To the right, there is a three-story, single-bay house that is set back. This house has glazing bar sash windows and a central door with a wooden doorcase and a cornice hood.
