Description
Stourton House is an early 18th-century farmhouse, now a house, located on the east side of Gothersley Lane in Kinver. It has undergone 20th-century alterations and additions. The building is constructed of red and blue brick with a plain tile roof featuring raised verges, and has brick valley stacks. It comprises two parallel ranges aligned north-south, facing east, with further 20th-century additions to the south. The house is two storeys and has an attic, distinguished by a dentilled eaves band and a gabled central bay. There are three windows, with 20th-century casements set within 18th-century openings that have segmental heads; a central attic lunette is also present. A central 20th-century glazed door is set within a keyed segmental head. A single-storey, flat-roofed extension is attached to the left.
