Description

1 and 2 Nelson Place are a pair of houses dating from the early 19th century, currently used as offices. They are constructed of brick and topped with slate roofs. The buildings are three stories high and consist of five bays. On the ground floor, windows and doors alternate, and there is a stone cornice that serves as an architrave for the doors and windows. The upper windows are sashes and casements that have been renewed in their original openings, and they feature cast-iron balconies. The houses also have a heavy eaves cornice, along with gable and axial stacks.
