Description
348 and 350 Glossop Road are two houses that have been converted into offices. They were built around 1845, reglazed in the mid-19th century, and restored in the late 20th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof that has two gable stacks and a single ridge stack, all made of coped brick. Notable architectural details include a plinth, a first-floor band, coped gables, and dentilled wooden eaves. The houses are three storeys tall and have a five-window range of plain sashes with brick flat arches and keystones. Above this, there are five smaller sashes. On the ground floor, there are three large tripartite sashes with moulded stone surrounds, along with two wooden doorcases that have steps, plain pilasters, and cornices. The doors are moulded four-panel types with overlights. The interior has not been inspected.
