Description

No. 8 King Street is a former dwelling that has been converted into offices. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of brick with a heavy slate roof. The building is two stories high and features three bays. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with an overlight, set within a moulded case. This door is flanked by tripartite sash windows that have stuccoed heads, complete with stressed voussoirs and keystones. The upper windows are nine-pane sashes, also with flat arched stuccoed heads. The building has gable and axial stacks.
