Description

Queen's Chambers is a house that has been converted into offices, located in a short crescent in Newcastle under Lyme. It was built in the early 19th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. It is two stories high and features seven bays, although it was built in two phases. The original part of the building has three bays and includes a doorcase with a moulded pediment and Tuscan columns, leading to a six-panelled door. The windows in this section are four-light sash windows with flat arched heads and are stuccoed. There is an arched way that leads to the rear of the building, a moulded eaves cornice, and an axial stack in the later section.
