Description
Ebenezer House is a former chapel, now used as commercial premises, built between 1857 and 1858 by Simpson of Leeds. The building is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. It has a pedimented gable with a modillion cornice facing the street, and a portico that covers paired segmentally arched doorways. The façade includes segmentally arched windows set within stone architraves, topped with a stressed entablature. Above the string course, there are four round-arched sash windows with segmental pediments supported by consoles and adorned with moulded architraves. The interior has been mostly altered during its conversion.
