Description

Number 27 on Marsh Parade is a house, now used as offices, dating from around 1800. The building is constructed of brick with a stuccoed lower storey and has a plain tiled roof. It is three stories high and has three bays. The entrance features a moulded doorcase with a traceried fanlight above. The windows are 15-pane sash windows, with a 9-pane design in the attic, and they have flat arched gauged brick heads. There is a wrought-iron balcony on the first floor. To the right, there is a full-height pilaster, and the building has a moulded eaves cornice. Gable end stacks are present as well.
