Description

No. 21 Marsh Parade is a former silk mill that has been converted into offices. It was in use as a mill by 1822 and continued until 1839. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. It has three storeys and five bays, with renewed 12-pane sash windows that have flat-arched heads. The entrance is located in the gable end facing Castle Street, which includes three bays, and there is a rear wing that has a dentilled eaves band and dormer windows in the attic. A stack is positioned on the right-hand gable.
