Description

A row of three cottages, likely originating as a single house, dating from the late 17th century. The cottages are timber framed with painted brick infill panels, and some brick rebuilding is present. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with brick stacks integrated into the ends. The range is aligned north-south, facing west, and comprises three framed bays. The design is of one storey with an attic. There are two large square panels to the eaves, and straight tension braces to the central bay. Three doorways are visible; the central one has a 20th-century gabled porch. The windows are casements, with the one on the right side featuring a segmental head. A central 20th-century flat-roofed dormer and a gabled dormer to the right are present. The left-hand gable displays a queen strut roof truss.
