Description

The Old House is a late 18th-century house located on Lichfield Road in Coton. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high, with a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The ground floor has a sill band, a top cornice, and a stone-coped brick parapet. The entrance features a doorcase with pilasters and an open pediment. The windows have rubbed brick flat arches with keystones above the sashes, and the outer windows have tripartite sashes that project slightly. The interior was not inspected during the last survey in 1990, when the house was being refurbished.
