Description

This is a late 18th-century house located on Hints Road, Hopwas, Wigginton. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and brick end stacks, arranged in a roughly T-shaped plan. The main north-south range faces east, with a rear east-west wing.

The house has two storeys and features a toothed eaves band. It has three windows on the front elevation, which are glazing bar sash windows with gauged brick heads. More recent 20th-century windows, designed to imitate the original glazing bar sashes, are set within 18th-century surrounds. A central doorcase, featuring pilasters and a pediment, contains a 19th-century six-panelled door and a fanlight with radiating glazing bars. A mid-19th-century round bay window, with a hipped roof and glazing bar sashes, is located on the left-hand gable.
