Description

The balustrade to Museum Gardens is a Grade II listed structure located in Lichfield, dating from the 1850s. It extends approximately 45.5 meters along the front of the gardens and is constructed from ashlar stone. The balustrade features a plain plinth and sub-octagonal piers, with four remaining urns and 4-centred arches between the balusters. There is a small gate at the left end, while the gate at the right end is not included in the listing. This balustrade is associated with the construction of the nearby Library and was originally listed with the bridge over Minster Pool, which may have been built on a medieval causeway.
