Description
The balustrade before the east front of Arley Hall dates from the 1850s and is made of ashlar and brick. It forms three sides of a rectangle below the terrace, which used to enclose a formal garden but is now a lawn. The north and south sides feature stone plinths, while the east side is constructed of brick. The stone balustrade includes piers with sunken panels, with one baluster attached at the sides of each pier and seven additional balusters between each pier. The openings have arched tops and a moulded rail runs along the top of the balustrade.
