Description

This is a milepost, likely from the early 20th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with 'WIGGINTON/PARISH'. The left side reads 'TAMWORTH 2', while the right side shows 'ALREWAS 6½ / BURTON 13½'.
