Farmhouse. Early C18 with major additions 1801. Red brick partly rendered, with slate and plain tile roofs. 4 brick stacks. East front 3 bays, 3 storey, with shallow hipped slate roof and deeply overhanging eaves. Rendered in imitation ashlar, ground floor rusticated, upper floors with flanking side pilasters. Central doorway with part glazed 4 panel door plus fanlight and porch with 2 fluted Ionic columns and 2 fluted Doric pilasters supporting a flat hood. Either side a single 2 light casement with narrow horizontal glazing bars, in moulded rendered surrounds. Above 3 similar casements in moulded surrounds. Above again 3 smaller similar casements, the central one in a moulded surround. Either side of this east front are single storey round ended wings, each with a central 2 light casement with narrow horizontal glazing bars. Lower earlier 2 storey brick wing to rear with irregular fenestration. Interior of rear range has some chamfered spine beams and panelled doors. The newer front has shutters and doors plus a large fireplace alcove in the drawing- room. To the front a low brick wall with rendered coping and spearheaded railings,bound a small semi-circular garden.
