Description

Woodhouse Farmhouse and the attached garden wall are located in Fisherwick Park. The farmhouse dates from the early 18th century, while the garden wall is from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and features brick integral end stacks. The principal range of the house is aligned north-east to south-west and faces north-west, with a rear wing aligned north-west to south-east. A wall attached to each end of the main house encloses a large former garden to the south and west. The house has two storeys with a storey band and features four windows with casements that have segmental heads. There is a half-glazed door located to the left of the centre. Woodhouse Farmhouse and its attached walled garden were once part of the Fisherwick Hall estate, which was built by Capability Brown around 1770 and has since been demolished.
