Cowhouses, stables, granary and cartshed immediately north of Northwood Farmhouse

Cowhouses, stables, granary and cartshed. Early C19, with later alterations. Coursed and squared large stone blocks with herringbone tooling; plain tile roof; stone block ridge stack. Roughly L-shape in plan, west range aligned north-south facing east, north range aligned east-west facing south. West range: 2 storey, 3 bay cowhouse to left and low single storey, 3 bay cowhouse to right. Left hand cowhouse has 2-light chamfer mullioned first floor windows, four inserted bottom hung casements to ground floor with concrete lintels; stable type doors to right, left and centre. Right hand cowhouse has 4 bottom hung casements, the inner flanking the central door, the outer 2 inserted into blocked doorways. North range: 2 bay stable and granary to left with granary over, slightly lower single bay stable extension to right. Stable and granary: 2 ground floor doors, steps to right leading to granary door; first floor 2-light chamfer mullioned window to left. Stable extension: Top hung casement. Cart shed to rear at west angle. Northwood Farmhouse is not included in this list.
