Description

Blackthorn Cottage and Hawthorn Cottage are a pair of cottages from the early 19th century. They are constructed from dressed large stone blocks and feature a plain tile roof that is hipped to the right. The cottages have an ashlar and brick axial ridge stack. The buildings are two storeys high and each has two windows with decorative cast iron traceried casements. There are six panelled doors on the left and right sides, each with oblong over-lights that contain decorative glazing bars. An attached house to the left is not included in this listing.
