This is a 19th-century milepost located opposite 143 Burton Road in Branston. It is made of hollow cast iron and has a triangular shape with a sloping top. The milepost is painted white and features raised black lettering. The inscription on the left side reads "ARLEWAS 6 LICHFIELD 11," while the right side states "BURTON 1 ¼," and the top identifies the location as "BRANSTONE PARISH."
