Description

This milepost, located at the National Grid Reference SK 16173022, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with the word "DRAYCOTT." The left side displays distances to Yoxall (7½ miles), Kings Bromley (9½ miles), and Lichfield (15 miles). The right side indicates distances to Sudbury (1½ miles) and Ashbourne (11½ miles).
