Description

This milepost, located on Stubby Lane in Draycott-in-the-Clay, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is marked with the name "DRAYCOTT." The left side indicates distances to Marchington (1 ½ miles) and Uttoxeter (5 miles), while the right side shows the distance to Burton (9 miles).
