Description

Nos 13 and 14 Station Road are a brick building dating to the 18th century, with a front facade rendered in stucco from the early 19th century, topped by a parapet and pilasters. A wing on the left-hand side, facing north, is of circa 17th-century origin. The main section has a two-storey, five-window arrangement, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and voussoired heads. Two 19th-century porches have panelled walls, gothic side windows, and panelled doors. A round-arched passageway is located at the centre. At the right-hand end, the building projects, with partly exposed sandstone walls revealing timber framing within. The front garden includes early 19th-century iron railings set upon a stone dwarf wall.
